Overview

Finished for the 2009 season, the Softball program has called this field “home” ever since. The field sits adjacent to the baseball field to complete the baseball/softball complex.

The field features a very well-maintained playing surface, oversized bullpens, and spacious dugouts for both the home and visiting teams. In the summer of 2010, permanent bleachers were added behind home plate with a set of bleachers on both the first and third base sides.

The scoreboard stands in right field and features the teams’ total runs, hits, and errors along with the current inning and ball-strike-out count.

The venue played host to an NCCAA Mid-East Regional tournament in 2012.

In 2014, the indoor hitting facility at the Highlands Field House was completed. The facility has two hitting areas and is used by both baseball and softball programs.
